JBH SOLUTIONS + 2021 on FHIR®

Hello 2021, it’s time to interoperate.

In November of 2020, we challenged ourselves to DO MORE and re-energize efforts focused on solving the complex system issues facing healthcare. JBH Solutions is now proficient in Health Level Seven® (HL7®) International’s Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources® (FHIR®), and having achieved certification, we’re committed to serving the healthcare industry with our breadth of knowledge and experience. FHIR® offers the opportunity to deliver on the long promised benefits of IT and AI. Leveraging these resources will enable the flow and exchange of patient healthcare data and service integration + transparency, and lead to positive impacts for care cost, quality, and patient experiences + outcomes.

We’re in a very special time right now, with pressure from all sides. The healthcare industry is on a global movement to standardize and establish patient-centric healthcare digitization using mature technologies. With foundational standards in place and wide adoption across many industries, the integration possibilities and solutions on FHIR® are vast and robust.  Developing in-workflow, real-time, and provider-facing decision support integration between Electronic Health Record systems and external Decision Support Services, will be the cornerstone of this new connected era in healthcare. With government initiatives like CMS “Project Blue Button 2.0”, healthcare entities are formally creating strategies and technical solutions utilizing FHIR® to lower the cost of delivering healthcare and improve patient outcomes and experiences.

Having both clinical experience + understanding of needed improvements, and the technical proficiency, means JBH Solutions is in a prime position to catch FHIR®.
